Tax Policy
You agree that you as buyer and we as seller are responsible for determining the amount of sales, use or other taxes that you may owe as a result of your Marketplace purchase. You also agree that as seller we are responsible to collect, to report and to remit any sales, use or other taxes as may be required under applicable law. You agree (a) that Rakuten.com has no responsibility to collect, report or remit sales, use or any other applicable taxes in connection with your purchase, and (b) to fully indemnify, defend and hold Rakuten.com harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, awards, fines, costs, expenses and liability in any way associated with foregoing. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Rakuten.com currently automatically charges sales tax with respect to any marketplace products shipped to California.
We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, APO Boxes, or FPO Boxes. Any order to these locations may be cancelled, sorry. We use a variety of shippers, some of whom do not allow delivery to PO Boxes. To prevent the need to cancel your order after it has been placed, we do not allow orders to ship to any PO Boxes for any orders. Additionally, there are certain restrictions on exporting certain kinds of technology outside of the United States. These restrictions complicate or prevent our suppliers from shipping products to APO or FPO mailboxes. As a result, we do not ship to any APO Boxes or FPO Boxes.
All items can be returned for any reason within 30 days of the receipt. Items should be returned in their original product packaging and all accessories in the original shipment must be included. All returns require an RA (Return Authorization) number which will be given by a Crosslinks Enterprises customer service rep (626) 965-2600. Please write your RA number on the return label, invoice, and packing slip. All returns will be shipped back to Crosslinks Enterprises at customer's expense. We will send a pre-paid shipping return label via email if the return is a result of our error. Items received without an RA form may not be accepted or may increase your processing time. Once an item has been received back in our warehouse all refunds or replacements are usually processed within 5 business days. Replacement or Refund of Defective or Damaged Item Defective or Damaged products can only be returned in exchange for the exact same product, or, the purchase price will be refunded back to your original payment method. Defective products may only be returned within 60 days of receipt and MUST be clear that the issue is a manufacturer defect and not from neglect or misuse. If an item is received damaged customer service must be contacted within 7 days of receipt. All defective and damaged items require an RA (Return Authorization) number which will be given by a Crosslinks Enterprises Customer Service Representative (626) 965-2600. It is at the company's discretion whether the item be sent back to a . Unauthorized returns may not be accepted. Once your return is processed, and is verified to meet the basic criteria above and to be defective or damaged, your refund will be issued or your replacement order will be sent to fulfillment. How quickly your replacement product ships after that depends on product availability.
